Making an old beauty useful again!


This is a photo of the 'bones' of a gorgeous chair given to me.  Now, time to fix her up!


This chair has an 'insert' that I had never seen the like before.  It comes out so I was able to tell my the old nail holes that all of the fabric application was done on the insert.  I started with the webbing and then proceeded to 'hog nose' attach the springs to the webbing.  Then I tied down the springs.  

Now time to cut the foam, add a bumper around the insert to cut down on fabric wear and use a spray adhesive to attach the foam to the burlap.  OK.  what fabric to use?  Hmmm...
